This soup looks great! I’ve already made this and this in the last few days. I’m so happy to be making soup again! Yay fall!! Family Fun isn’t a site I frequent, but I found these great soup recipes on Pinterest and am delighted I gave them a try.
I have a friend who swears by drinking ACV everyday, so I thought I’d try it. This recipe was WOW! something else. If you can get past the vinegar taste and the burning lips from the cinnamon not mixing in, it’s actually not so bad.
We’re all back to school now and the kids both have several extra curricular activities. I realized last week while waiting through gymnastics that sitting and playing Trivie on my iphone was only going to be fun for so long. I needed something to help me feel productive. I’m easing in with this creative project. Yes, I am now that crazy woman with yarn sitting poolside during swim class.
What projects are you thinking about this week with the first sights and scents of autumn in the air?
This is going to be a quickie.
Attic 24 teaches us how to make a chevron blanket. I’m thinking turquoise and mustard for my living room.
I know. I know. I owe you guys some real sit down time since I’ve been awol and there was a weird virus thingy for a few weeks, (the site is all clean again – thanks crazy people who still came to my blog even when google was telling you not to. You must have really needed an Emily fix!), but this is all the time I’ve got right now.
Recipe Boy’s Raspberry Dark Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
It’s my birthday tomorrow! My girly gals are taking me out for drinks tonight and one of my besties is taking me and the girls to Hood River for hiking and berry picking and picnicking and beaching tomorrow. Can’t wait!!
I’m thinking I’d like my hair to do this. What do you think?
I finally put the top and skirt together on the dress I’ve been making for myself for over a year now. It was abysmal. Apparently if you loose weight you have to account for that in your dress making. I tried to fix it and nothing was making it look any better. I think I’m over that particular dress. Next week I’m going to have a couple of days to work on whatever I want to and I’m considering whipping up one of Collette‘s patterns.
I really, really, really want to get a new tattoo. I’m thinking flowers.
So, sorry about the quickie. But this is what my thoughts are on this Tuesday. What are you thinking?
Just some things I’ve got on my mind…
If it’s good enough for Julia Child...
This looks scrumptious. I think I actually like almond milk better than cow’s. Just saying…
Homemade pillow pets? PZ would like this I think…
Every new year I start off, like so many others, with a lot of big goals and plans in mind. I’m much more motivated in winter. Progressive, too, if I can keep it up! This year, I’m working to remember to keep it simple. My focus narrowed, I want to make it easier on myself. Slow and steady. Simple and small. Project by project.
I want to start this way. And here, in my Tuesday Thinking posts, I’m going to reign myself in and realign to each new week. From my Pinterest boards, Be Mine, smoothies!, and MAD Scientist, I’m whittling down a few broad topics into manageable projects.
I’d love to see what you’re working on! Big or small. We can help keep each other motivated!
