I finally finished my facebook I will make you something challenge. I made this bracelet/pincushion for my friend Yancey. I got the how-to out of Jenny Ryan‘s Sew Darn Cute book. I call this the silver lining bracelet. It seemed appropriate as we are headed into Portland’s rainy season. Plus, she’s my crafty buddy. Yay!

I made Seth these two punched tin can lanterns, just in time for Halloween. These were really fun to make. I got the tutorial from Crafterella. Thanks Prescott for all the fabulous big cans!

As you might remember from my last post, THIS is my 1ooth post! YAY! And I want to do a giveaway!! So if you are interested in receiving a fun care package from me just let me know. I’d also love any feedback you guys want to give on what you think of the blog. What keeps you coming back to read more? Which project have I done or written about that really interested you? You know, that kind of thing. And finally if you are a crafty reader I’d love to hear about what you do too. You never know, I might throw in some fun supplies.

I’m going to leave the comments open until we hit 100 or next Sunday – whichever happens first – and then I’ll do a random pick. Good luck and thank for reading!

  1. hi emily!
congrats on a 100! i’ve just started my own blog recently & 100 seems so far off! how is that japanese craft book going that i sent? i recently saw the same on translated into english which would make it soooo much easier but sometimes half the fun with those books is that we can’t understand what they say anyway! 😀
one of the many reasons i like to visit your blog is for your great tutorials (yours & others) which i’d like to try/have tried 🙂
    keep up the good work!

  3. how can I get on of those beautiful quilts? What can I do for you?

  4. Congratulations on your 100th post. I love all the crafty things you make on your blog. I’m a quilter mostly. But I love to make all kinds of crafts. I love following your blog to get inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

  5. I LOVE your blog. My favorite projects that you’ve done so far are the blanket with rock pockets and quilt.

The great ideas are what keep me coming back. I love gift ideas, because I try to make as many of our gifts as possible.

In reference to what I craft… I do some card making and sewing mostly… I am trying to learn to knit and crochet, but haven’t really committed to either one.

    Thanks for the giveaway!
